Personal Reflection
Situation:
As a Swinburne Student, I started the Indigenous Cultural Competence Modules at the start of the semester. However, in the midst of the module, I realized that I only have a slight knowledge of indigenous culture.

Task :
During the semester, I have steadily progressed through the module and simultaneously used Google whenever to further do research on indigenous culture. My main objective was to understand the indigenous culture and gain knowledge about the aboriginals in Victoria.

Action:
After attending and finishing the module and doing research on the internet, I came to understand more about indigenous culture and obtain knowledge on aboriginals in Victoria. This is because the modules provided were very informative and detailed which enabled me to gain a lot of insight into the indigenous culture. The internet has also given me a lot of knowledge on the aboriginals aside from their culture.

From this experience, I now understand the importance of understanding the indigenous culture and how it is crucial to be grateful to the indigenous people and their land.
